The renovations and additions to Brewster Hall represent much more than the enlargement and re-imagining of the school’s dining facility and student center, the social hubs of the campus. It is the culmination of a long held vision to link the northern, predominately residential precinct of the campus with the southern, academic precinct to create a truly pedestrian, unified campus with Brewster Hall’s new west entrance pavilion as its centerpiece. The completed project will provide a fully accessible Brewster Hall which elegantly links the north and south campuses and celebrates Suffield Academy’s signature site and views.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

• Expanded kitchen and servery supports school dining traditions.
• New student center incorporates adaptable spaces for study, collaboration and performance.
• “Main Street” circulation clearly delineates snack bar, senior lounge, bookstore and lockers.
• Addition and site work unify academic and residential quadrangles.
