In order to maintain its presence as a world leader in glass container production technology, Emhart was faced with a time-critical decision: outsource its glass furnace pilot line or construct one of its own in the United States. Continuing a decade-long relationship with Tecton throughout various reorganizations and relocations, Emhart retained Tecton as master planner, concept and interior design consultant. Tecton provided fast-tracked site selection assistance, planning and programming services and facilitated Emhart’s decision to consolidate all research and development departments into a single, US-based facility.

Emhart’s upscale sales, marketing and R&D center promotes daily departmental interaction through an open layout that reduces barriers between office and R&D personnel.  The efficient, technologically advanced facility also promotes Emhart’s reputation as a premier international manufacturer of glass bottle production equipment.
