Following a district-wide Facilities Master Plan, Tecton provided conceptual design options, referendum support and State grant application assistance to the Town for a new elementary School. Tecton was selected to move forward with design and construction administration services for the remainder of the project, scheduled to complete construction in 2022.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS

• Design integrates with a complex site, making use of hills and wetlands as a teaching opportunity
• Early Childhood Center for grades Pre-K to 1st, with separate entry and drop-off
• 5th Grade Academy, to help prepare older children for transition to middle school
• Consolidated public spaces, including cafeteria, gymnasium, kitchen, lockers/showers and multi-purpose space for community use
• Enclosed courtyard to provide protected outdoor spaces
