New Staff Strengthens our
Team Expertise
Tecton continues to pursue talent both within and outside of the architecture industry as part of a comprehensive plan to support business growth and deepen team expertise. These additions provide us the perspective and capacity to better support existing clients and reach for new opportunities.
Edward Widofsky, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, MCPPO, has joined the firm as Associate and Senior Project Manager. Widofsky has been a part of the Connecticut architecture, engineering and construction industry for more than 20 years, serving in various capacities for both Amenta Emma Architects and most recently, Steffian Bradley Architects.
Widofsky has committed his career to education, as both a project leader and mentor. His major academic projects include the CREC Discovery Academy, Pathways Academy of Technology and Design, The MacDuffie School and Springfield Technical Community College. He currently serves as President of the Board for the Lutz Children’s Museum and has been actively involved with both students and the supporting boards for the Connecticut ACE Mentor Program and the Academy of Engineering and Green Technology at Hartford High School.
At Tecton, he will serve as a Senior Project Manager and a leader for the firm’s K-12 market sector, supporting Tecton’s on-going work with clients like Simsbury Public Schools, East Longmeadow Public Schools and Kent School. This addition reflects Tecton’s comprehensive plan to support business growth and deepen team expertise in the K-12 and higher education markets.
“We’re excited to welcome Eddie to the firm, not only because of his depth of experience, but because of what he adds to our team culture. His commitment to mentorship and collaboration echo our values and vision for the future of the firm,” said Ted Cutler, AIA, LEED AP, Principal and CEO of Tecton.
