Tecton is currently working with the Town of Oxford to design their new middle school, which will house sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, and will be able to meet an enrollment of 488 students. The new school will be constructed along Great Oak Road between the existing Great Oak and Quaker Farms schools. Tecton’s design will create a community campus setting mindful of the rural character of the town, and a safe, welcoming environment that celebrates integrating art and music specialties through STE(A)M Education and 21st Century Learning skills.

The project will also involve the construction of parking lots, site circulation, utility infrastructure, as well as athletic fields to replace those affected by construction. In addition to traditional middle school spaces, the new building will include large science laboratory classrooms, an engineering tech classroom, a full sized gymnasium and a cafetorium.
